Research Interests
The main focus of my research is cartilage tissue engineering, or the denovo development of cartilaginous tissues from the manipulation of cells, scaffolds, biochemical signaling and mechanical forces. Specifically, I am interested in the study of meniscal fibrocartilage regeneration and healing utilizing combinations of cells and collagen based scaffolding in various in vitro and invivo models.
