Biographical Sketch

Keiichi (Kei) Kuroki graduated from Nihon University, Japan as a DVM in 1993. In Japan he completed a one-year small animal internship at Azabu University and then practiced at the Nagaoka Animal Hospital for 3 years prior to moving to the United States. He received his PhD in the area of Pathobiology from the University of Missouri in 2003 and completed a Veterinary Anatomic Pathology residency at Kansas State University in 2007. He returned to the University of Missouri in 2007 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. His pathologic interests are in the area of musculoskeletal diseases, especially those pertaining to the joint. Dr Kuroki has been a recipient of both The Hohn-Johnson Research Award and Charles Louis Davis DVM Foundation Student Scholarship Award.
